Yamaha Model Updates

Post by yzmxer608 »

Here are the updates I made to the Yamaha models that have been seen on the SYS bikes. I will start out by saying they are both 4x2k now, at least it's better than full blown 4k. Also I was sort of rushing when I did this stuff so UV space isn't utilized the greatest. The templates are kind of messy too, the YZF isn't too bad but have fun with the YZ template .

Also the degenerate triangle tests JLV implemented causes some of the triangles to disappear on both bikes. the YZF model I noticed it on the compression adjusters on top of the forks, and the GET switch. I didn't really notice much on the YZ model. With that said I tried to solve it but I am not a very good or efficient modeler so there maybe something I'm not seeing. Also the upper portion of the holeshot device on the YZF's pokes through the fork guard on compression, I didn't realize this until the SYS pack was released. Shouldn't be too bad of a fix but I've stared at it too long to bother right now .

What's included:
PNG's and .JM files for YZF, test bike on 450f
PSD for diffuse, norm, and spec and blend file for YZF
PNG's and .JM files for yz125 and yz250, test bike for each
PSD for diffuse, norm, and spec and blend for YZ

What's changed:
YZF:
  • Added Cycra skid plate
  • Hinson ignition cover
  • Xtrig ROCS triple clamps
  • Heat guards for FMF exhaust
  • Bar mounted launch control button
  • GET bar mounted ignition switch
  • GET LCGPA on front fender (in real life they use it as sort of a tach on the line to get in the right RPM range, the numbers aren't the RPM I don't believe but light up or flash if the RPM is too high or not high enough. Normal riding shows the GPA mode it's in (different from the map, GET lingo doesn't really explain too well what GPA is, I believe it's sort of like traction control)).
  • Lightspeed right fork lug guard
  • Holeshot device based off of Reed's bike
  • Made the throttle cable a correct pulley style with the two cables
YZ:
  • I pulled what I had previously from my "classic" yz plastics bike and put Benjii's frame and 2015 plastics on it. Since the new plastics are on the old template, any skins previously created for these plastics on his template will need to be downsized and moved around to fit on this model.
  • Lightspeed rear caliper air duct
  • Lightspeed right fork lug guard
  • Xtrig ROCS bar clamps
  • Remodeled Cycra Stealth DX handguards
  • New FMF Ti Powercore 2.1 mufflers (for each respective displacement)
  • New FMF fatty raw pipe skins
Think that's it, maybe some other small stuff. YZ files I think still has my attempt at the CMT carbon tank but won't work at all with the new plastics.

SYS Skins not included, just showing the bikes.
