Re: 2017 Husqvarna Update
That model was not released (FOR FREE) for other people to swap parts and sell it. Not to mention you put parts that were released (FOR FREE) on it.

Has a select few parts of people in this community who still do not know how to change a part of the bike, you are a great modeler, but everyone is not the same you, who does not want to change all the pieces, just buy my update and use it! I want you to understand that!Jeremy150 wrote:That model was not released (FOR FREE) for other people to swap parts and sell it. Not to mention you put parts that were released (FOR FREE) on it.

You don't understand why we're laughing about you charging.GuilhermeMX28 wrote:Has a select few parts of people in this community who still do not know how to change a part of the bike, you are a great modeler, but everyone is not the same you, who does not want to change all the pieces, just buy my update and use it! Your taking FREE parts, from FREE models and moving them around, and then CHARGING people to release the full thing that took you all of 10 minutes to do.

Re: 2017 Husqvarna Update
As I said, this was my first job, so I assure you I took well over 10 minutes! I do not care if they're laughing at me, but I'm sure a lot of people who do not know how to change parts will be happy to have this update!Tbonemx428 wrote:You don't understand why we're laughing about you charging.GuilhermeMX28 wrote:Has a select few parts of people in this community who still do not know how to change a part of the bike, you are a great modeler, but everyone is not the same you, who does not want to change all the pieces, just buy my update and use it! Re: 2017 Husqvarna Update
Two people model two different models and release them for free and you take there work move and scale it a couple times and then you try to sell it to people, why do people have to be like this

Re: 2017 Husqvarna Update
So these are the parts of nates yam: FMF Tailpipe, x-trigs, cycra hand guards and the GET stuff. Then you've got Jeston's Front pipe from his update to jays ktm. Attackers FatBar pad, also Jay's pro circuit from his kawi and you probably didn't even model the cycra bits for the front plate either.
And you probably didn't pay for the unreleased stuff or even ask the creators if you are able to sell their work.
Also if this is your first bit of work never ask for money especially when all you have done is copy and paste.

Re: 2017 Husqvarna Update
Jesus fuck cut the guy a little slack - he isn't the only guy in this community profiting from other people's work. And he has a point, he isn't charging for the parts specifically he is charging for the work put in.
Think of it like this, you're now a carpenter.. TA DA!
A customer wants a job done, for this job you are able to get all the materials required for FREE though the job itself will take you a day of work to complete. Because you got the materials you have used for free, does this mean you must do the work for free also? Fuck no.
For those of you saying this is just a few minutes work... you're straight retarded, and I would bet you've never even attempted anything like this yourselves. Collecting all the parts required, removing the old parts, aligning the new parts, mapping the UVs of the new parts, and finally creating the template - not to mention all the tedious work in between.
With all this said, I do disagree with the sale of most work for mx simulator. The community progressed at a much faster rate "back in the day" when source files were shared more openly, and not just a select few or those willing to pay had access. I have paid for models, because the quality of most paid models are so much higher than those free, in my eyes - because most free models are no longer being progressed and updated. Instead the focus is on the 'private' models which bring money to the creators.
Though I can understand the attraction to making money from models, skins etc... if you aren't willing to put in work to help the game progress then you aren't really deserving my money

Re: 2017 Husqvarna Update
As I said I'm not charging parts, but rather the job of putting them in that model, my thinking was not "I'm going to do this to make money" I just did to use it on my team, so one of my friends said " Hey, you should post this, it was good and I still have not seen these pieces in this husqvarna around "so that's what I did, everyone who's talking badly, they're great modellers, and I'll tell them, someday I'll be as good as you , But until then you will have this husq as my first job !!!
Re: 2017 Husqvarna Update
I dont think youre getting the point. You youre selling ohter peoples work.. OTHER PEOPLES WORK, all you did was move the parts on to another bike. You also took models that are private (that you probably didnt pay for) Your best bet to end this is refund the people who bought it from you and release it free. Otherwise it sounds like a ban worthy thing. Everyone thats done this has been banned
