TEAM UPDATE
For the past five years, SPLIT CO.’s Jason Felkey and Cody Branson have been releasing unique
setups to the Mx Simulator world using their professional graphic design background’s for their
team formally known as BGFX. The SPLIT CO. team have taken a hiatus from the racing side of
the game, and decided 2020/2021 would be their official return.
There’s no denying that the motocross industry has a long lineage of repeating itself when it
comes to team concepts and gear. For this SPLIT CO. setup, we decided to look elsewhere. The
Alpha Tauri (RedBull) Honda Formula 1 race car has a sleak, modern and sharp look that we
wanted to implement on our setup, while using our own unique mix of color swatches and designs.
Our two title sponsors for the coming season consist of Split Designs Co. and ALPA Mx. SPLIT
CO. Originating from Temecula CA, Split Designs has always been a unique motocross design
company dating back to 2009. The design styles are created to catch the eye through unique color
schemes and originality which separates them from the average motocross graphic company. Use
Code: “SDCTEAM” at SplitDesignsCo.com. ALPA Mx is a local Southern California motocross
based media publication that offers fans and racers a place to share their passion for the sport. This
site offers race coverage, riding, fitness, and mechanical tips, industry news, bike builds and much
more. Both companies have a passion for Mx Simulator, and plan to maintain their partnership into
the coming years.
The “SPLIT | ALPA Mx | Alpha Tauri Race Team” will support Colin Blakita #919 (450cc), Jason
Felkey #567 (250cc), Cody Branson #317 (250cc/450cc), and newly added members Garrett
Harsch #733 (250cc) and Spencer Owens #165 (250cc) in their racing efforts. This pack will include
all our our custom setups, as well as a public version. We’ll ’see you in the servers!
