Yeah, shading's just not been made strong enough as far as the bumps go. You figure it out after a few laps, though.

Being helpful? Or just defensive not everyone likes your best buds track as much as you do?

Anyways this is towards Barrington (you know the actual track creator) not Awood, although I won't be suprised if Awood comments but none the less. I like the roughness, as far as I'm concerned the displacement is awesome. The overlays are what kill the fps. I think you found the limit on what can and can't be done with this engine. Pumped someone finally went and made it though, thanks for the hard work!

Nah just more aimed at your normal defensive posts towards something that doesn't concern you. Keep thinking what you like though.

Mason, the overlay is the same size as most other nationals. Im thinking maybe the major terrain changes arent a big help in performance. IDK that theres anything i could do about that though on this particular track. I guess I could test that theory by flattening it out once.

Track is fantastic. Im running high terrain and med objects and its running really good, better than most of the other Nats from last year actually.

Hhhmm is there more than one overlay? Also, I downloaded the medium res and it was fine, so no issues here but I haven't been in a server either. The engine just can't support it I guess unfortunately.
