um in this game. a concrete bale is too much realism.barrington314 wrote:the bales are there in real life. and i doubt you can ride through them as well as you can in this game. give it a try once. if its not one thing, its another. wheres brina to bitch about the color of the track?

Re: Freestone 2011
Let's calm down and scrub it like Roczen. No but am I the only one who thinks that Freestone is harder then Hangtown?
Re: Freestone 2011
I was thinking that to man. Maybe it's the sand though.

Here's a link to a trackmap: http://i1203.photobucket.com/albums/bb383/dffp/map.png
Download and place it in the ../2012.motosport.rf.national.rd2.freestone folder generated by the game in your personal folder.
I appreciate the feedback on the track and I'm fully aware that most things on this track could use a tweak or two.
The main reason for this being that the track was made from scratch in less than three weeks with very little in the way of beta-testing.
Next years version will be better...

Re: Freestone 2011
i think you should keep the track style like on this
couple of ruts but not too many and nice braking bumps
and its an awesome work for 3 weeks!

Re: Freestone 2011
Wow, that's pretty amazing that you pumped it out that quickly, and the disp is great. Stinks that the worst part of it is something as simple as traction.haggqvist wrote:Here's a link to a trackmap: http://i1203.photobucket.com/albums/bb383/dffp/map.png

I'd also like to add that Hangtown's traction was amazing, absolutely loved it.

Hmmm

Re: Freestone 2011
I swear I'm not crazy, this has happened to me in the past as well. Nobody mentioned the traction for Hangtown, but there have been a few from Freestone, must have something to do with the layout/disp? I just don't know, but Hangtown felt tacky, Freestone feels really slick with some odd moments where you just catch and weird stuff happens. I don't know.haggqvist wrote:Hmmm

Re: Freestone 2011
Just did a quick back to back comparison and knew they weren't exactly the same, I didn't look closely enough the first time to see the minor changes. It's definitely the roll resistance mostly, and dropping off a little on the last setting certainly didn't help. The smallest changes really do make a world of difference when it comes to traction. We're not crazy, Freestone is different enough that a few people mentioned it when nobody did for Hangtown.
