problem w/ new tracks

all the new/old tracks that I have and had downloaded I gots one question about them, why are half the tracks just black , can see the layout of the track but ground is black; they are not dark tracks, and ANY help whould be amazing !

I would go to jlv for this problem, but don't post your problems on here post them on the Help / Troubleshooting because this is only for posting tracks.

This is a shot in the dark, but try using the compatibility graphics option.

Ok... All the tracks that are folders, NOT .SAF, but FOLDERS do not go in your personal folder, but they go directly in your MX Simulator folder. All .SAF files can go in your personal folder, but if the track is just a plain FOLDER then it goes in your MX Simulator folder.

No that is not at all how it works...

ALLL TRACKS/ SKINS /MODELS ...ETC safed or not
Go in your PERSONAL FOLDER unless told otherwise...

Start/Programs/MxSimulator/MxSimulatorPersonalFolder

I'd recommend putting stuff in the install folder unless it's a track that you intend to modify. Basically it only needs to be in the personal folder if MX Sim has to write to it. If it's read only the install folder is fine.

Hmmm...I never put anything in the install folder unless its a snapshot or something you made for the game.

I'm having the same problem. All tracks work fine except for the last two I downloaded; Wheeler SX and Altitude.
