FINALLY I CAN POST MY CRITICISM.
-I miss barrington already
-track is just a little too overscaled for me but its not too bad, still fun
-the tables are the killer for me, you made it wayyyyyyy to easy to step off (btw, has anyone tried super concrete like traction on top of the tables to help us launch off maybe so we dont have to make a lip?)
-The berms (or traction) is weird for my style when i hit them, sometimes steering with the back end goes fine, others i hook into something and almost launch off of the berms.
-good job Chex, should be pretty fun for racing

We can tell there's a difference between your tracks and barrington. Imo, you two are aiming for different crowds. Barrington clearly made the tracks for the rF races, making them challenging while you, on the other side, tried to make everyone happy, making it easy to triple right out of the corner and making the step offs way too easy, for example. It's a fun track and it seems to be 250 friendly. Although I don't ride one, that should make the guys who do ride them happy. Overall, I like the track, I just think you needed to make it a little more challenging

not a fan of the monster truck scale.
I would have loved if you did your style track chex on the same scale that weve been using all year. Also why is the finish lip almost 10 feet tall?

Can confirm. The finish take off has been 10' tall all year.

You might be surprised to know that theres actually a spot thats smaller width than what mine have been.

The scale really isnt that much different than mine. Its the jump distances I think thats the biggest difference. The thing I dont like about that is the higher speeds. Other than that my only complaints are on a 250 (havent even rode it on a 450 i dont think) there seems to really only be one way through the first section. As in, if you go inside and roll double double, you cant then triple. You are stuck doubling all the way through. But I guess that means just dont mess up the roll double triple line. The other thing, 2nd section, triple step over first table is really funky. Maybe you were trying to prevent the step onto second table. And lastly the berm before jumping back onto start straight. Hate that one. Other than those few things i think the track is fun.
Aside from how it rides, this is my other critique:
Why on earth did you use such a large terrain? lol. That makes for larger shading files too. 12mb each. And a funky track map.

I wanted to wait till after the race to post much. I will try to answer questions I've heard/seen.
Width is same as we've had all year.
Where Stephen builds with a tighter spacing (approx. 3 feet different between two 3 foot tall rhythm section jumps) and then stretches the width to give more side to side room I scaled everything proportionally based on the width. I think more than anything your feeling more space with the cupped/steeper faces just as much as that extra 3 feet.
Jump heights are actually pretty consistent with Stephens, though I wasn't as precise and was willing to tweak them to get the rhythms I wanted.
Corners are more open because of scaling proportionately. Stephen has 10 feet between lanes entering/exiting a 180, I had 13 feet. While it would take work I'd rather have built it with the 10 foot spacing if done over.
To answer your question on first rhythm Stephen, if I made single double double triple easier on 250f then the outside would easily become 2-3-4 and I wanted the two main lines to be available. If you time trial or go side by side from start straight through that section both inside and outside are equal. It was a goal to make options. I find that fun. And options via the track not options caused by mistakes.
Tranny isn't perffect between tables to not allow you to step over first table and 5 into turn.
Finish is steep to prevent launching into 3-5-3 at end of sections, plus I like steep whip able faces.
I wish I would've worked on a better bank when going onto single onto start. I agree it could be better.
First table had a lip drawn on track map, second one kept a lip to allow you to step off cleanly over wedge jump. Maybe not real but I find it more fun and better for battling that way.
That's the thinking behind some decisions I was asked about. I'm not saying they are right, or that it's better or perfect. Just the choices I made haha.
For those that liked it, cool! That makes the time spent worth it. Those that didn't, that's okay too. You have 15 other rounds to love haha
Oh and terrain size...I built it first on an old track just for fun to test some stuff. When moving it over the terrain.hf would've been at 2.0 or would've had to stretch the terrain. Neither option would allow me to keep the track smooth without a lot more smoothing. But yes, again would do differently if to build again
