I have both tracks...yours and nighlight and my skybox is not dark its day still......

I think that his may just be black for the screenies cause mine is day as well and he has some others that are like that.

lighting references italy fall apparently. i changed it and it still doesnt work. skybox files are the red sun not night time

Haven't tried this yet but it should work:
JGMXreal Lighting Fix
Download contains a lighting file and skybox folder. Drag both into the track folder and replace the existing files, that should do the trick.
