whatcha mean playable? I agree they are non realistic but you actually have to have good timing and shit to be able to ride the tracks which is fun

What I mean by that is actually having realistic terrain. His jumps sometimes have vertical faces which make it impossible. Basically what I'm saying is that he should have realistic elements to the actual design of the track, but keep making the environments different.
