+1

I rather wait a few days more but then am able to race the same track as the real racers. No hate towards anyone. the hangtown track was great its just very different to the real track this year.
checkerz wrote:This wouldn't be a problem if this was a full-time gig for any of us. We're all capable and talented enough. However, currently we simply have between now and whenever the race is to finish the track. Vacations, life, family, etc. can all happen in that time without consequence.

What you're asking for would require the track maker to be available immediately after Saturday's racing to update the terrain to then get to the person who does decals and objects and such and get it packaged. Again, not impossible, but not something most of us who have been through this quite a few times are interested in doing. It's stressful enough week in and out!

Plus, I agree part of it is the hype for the upcoming week and the exposure for the game via YouTube views and such of hotlaps.

Hope that helps explain it.
Very well said.

said vegetation and other useless items or something like that, didnt realize they had collisions. i try to stay away from them :D

Mine actually failed download partway through. I've seen it in SX actually stop at 0 KB/s, it must have happened again and timed out.

Just tested all the links and got each one downloaded in a few minutes or less for each one. I only have 30 mbps internet as well. I think the sudden influx of downloads kinda nerfs the server they are hosted on every time and then it fixes itself after a bit. I do wish he'd also upload them to mediafire or something else as an alternative to prevent this though.
