If you're knowledgeable about timing-gate files, imma doofus and had the finish line timing gate at the beginning and end of the normal lap
So all you need to do really is, delete the last number out of the normal lap number sequence (the 2nd 36 of the final row of the timing gates file)
Sorry for the run around but I'd rather fix the fuck ups then race a track with messed up timing gates.

It was absolutely awful how that went for me lmao. I’ve made several tracks with proper timing gates. Idk wtf I was doing. I had a homie actually fix it so I didn’t even get it right lmaoo
