I’m not so sure why so many of you are complaining about these tracks. Firstly, I don’t race on these tracks, I’m no where near fast enough so you could already argue that my point is completely invalid.

However, from what I know about track making in this game/sim, it takes a whole load of time to make just one track, never mind an entire series, and you guys are getting these tracks completely free. (Side note but it took me around 70-80 hours roughly to make the one track I’ve made for this game, granted the Rf creators are probably much faster and efficient at creating tracks. But, for the US guys here (which is the majority of this sim’s population/fan base/play base), if these guys were to want just a minimum hourly wage payment for making these tracks i imagine it would be roughly $300-500... per track.))

I dare say these guys could be charging $5 to each one of you on a weekly basis for these tracks, and I know I’d be paying it because I’d rather have the creators stay motivated towards MXS than have it die even more. There’s no doubt that a big handful of the best MXS creators (for tracks and models) have left due to some people feeling like they should be handed everything on a plate.

Besides all that, this series is the highest level of racing in MXS. They’re not going to be easy to ride, they’re made to test people. If you’re struggling to ride them then the chances are that it’s you that needs to improve and not the track. I hit the deck a lot of times when trying to put in fast laps around these tracks but not once have I sat and got annoyed at the track. Instead I’m normally sat like a chubby kid in a sweet shop looking around in amazement at how pretty the track looks, and I also sit and think at how I could improve and hit a line better next lap round.

So yeah, just be a little grateful that you have these tracks and this series because when it comes to MX games, there’s absolutely nothing else like it.

And if you don’t like it then y’know... go play something else and stop spitting your dummy out because a berm hasn’t got a 90 degree angle that you can rail in 5th gear pinned

Dawg, w h a t... $300 per track? JGMX made 2020 Arlington in 3 hours just for fun and it's way better than any of the rf tracks this year so far.
Also, If people wanted to play another track then they would. Sadly, since "rf is back!!!111!!1", there are no other pro series to race the real-life sx tracks on. Rf basically has a monopoly going. They really don't have to take any criticism at all since they're pretty much the only option if you want to race.
As for the berms, they should be around 90 degrees if we're going for realism.

Maybe if they stopped designing the tracks entirely around erode they would be sort of fun and realistic.

Well, since other content creators are willing to create replicas of the supercross series, there’s nothing stopping someone from hosting an alternative supercross series. But please do refer back to what I said about the tracks being purposely difficult. It takes a lot of time to try and get them right. A lot longer than 3 hours, and that is in no means a dig towards JGMX because I think the content he puts out there is up with the best, but i can guarantee the majority of his tracks take a lot, lot longer than 3 hours.

As for the picture of that berm you posted. That’s no where near 90 degrees.

I could be completely wrong here but I believe it’s naive for you to think that Rf are just ignoring all criticism. They don’t have to put this series together for you or anyone else. They’re probably doing it because they enjoy it and want to provide this community with good content. So it will be in their best interests to listen to their audience.

I hated the track but I still appreciate it more than any random fun track getting released. These tracks are the best for racing and separating the slow and fast people. If we played JGMX/SX tracks there would be no skill gap. rF doesn't have to host for us, and if they went away for good then this game would perish. I love you rF, I just think this track was a flop. Good luck next week.

Also, Titan brings a good point, why don't they just host their own series? I host a fun race series every once in a while on Mxslobby and it isn't very fun once you get 100 pms about how "This kid is sandbagging" or "I missed the uid, put me in?" or "He took me out ban him". I have mad respect for the hosts and track creators for putting in their time for us ungrateful little shits.

There is something stopping other creators from making a series, its called rf. Another series would not be taken as seriously as rf, just look at emf. Also, I feel like these tracks aren't as difficult as even the 2017 tracks rf made. Sure, its harder to not slide out in the berms but in terms of hitting the actual fast lines and rhythms, they are easier. With JG, of course, most of his tracks take more than 3 hours to make and test but my point is that he made an sx track just for fun in 3 hours with no trouble. Rf pays its track makers and they can't even make the track ride near as good as a track that JG made for free.
That berm may not be 90 degrees but its a lot steeper than the ones rf made. When ruts don't develop as they do in real life, you need to make the berm a lil steeper in the game. The last round had great berms, I just don't know why rf fucked em up for this round.
Rf doesn't seem to listen to anything that people say that would involve more effort from them. Every time I see criticism, rf just replies with the same thing that you said, "if you don't like it, make your own." However, people can't make their own because everyone is doing rf and no one would do a different series let alone pay for a different series. I'm repeating myself here but just look at how emf basically died right as rf came back.
Perhaps if the rf crew is really in so much agony from all the constant backlash and all these ungrateful fans then they should just shut the whole thing down. I think that would be funny.

smid the 2017 tracks were literally the easiest tracks I've ever played in sim.

They will be listening to criticism but Tampa will have already been made before the berm criticism came in. Granted, they’ve had time to fix it but they’ve probably been prioritising getting the tracks further down in the series ready. Again, I could be wrong. See what you think of next weeks track, that’s all you can do. If no improvements are made then I stand corrected.

In addition to this though, people do need to learn how to give proper criticism instead of the “this sucks” “this is the worst series ever” etc.

Saying things like that isn’t beneficial in anyway. This isn’t a dig at you Smidly, like, you’ve said the berms need improvement. That’s a fair comment, but for the rest of you just posting absolutely pointless comments, give your head a shake and actually tell what needs improvement. It’s not difficult.

No, we're not ignoring feedback, as always we are trying to improve every week.

I won't even entertain comparing a track made for fun vs a track that has specific dimensions that we are confined to...
