You probably want to stay away from the KX even though they chose it as their number 1 bike. Piss poor reliability if a 2012 bike does that whilst it was still 2011!

something tells me you don't know much about bike maintaining. when hes rolling up for the start you can just hear the chain screaming "CHANGE ME OR YOU'LL REGRET IT!!"
all bikes has their weak spot and are all very much the same, its all about what your comfortable whit.

I don't think that's the chain it's something in the motor :S My theory is that motor ended up needing a rebuild and they decided to film it and try to get some publicity out of it. I'd never seen that guy's name before, you don't just go randomly filming your starts lol

Yeah I've seen this vid before. Didn't really bother me though. Their is always a few lemons in the production line. I remember in 04 on 85s my team mate got a brand new 04 YZ85 and it sucked. My 03 killed it, so I kept the 03 for another year. But a few months later when he bought another 04. It was so much quicker then his first one. Kind of weird. But yeah I'm thinking of staying with Yamaha. I was stuck between a YZF or CRF but I've heard so many valve stories with the CRF's. and I read about some bloke clocking up 144 hours on his YZF and his valves were still fine.
The Honda 250F's required a lot of valve maintenance from 04-06... After that you're in the clear. Yamaha's 5 valve DOHC system has it's advantages, but in the end, for MX, the CRF unicam system is by far superior.
At least you're smart enough to see that Yamaha and Honda are ahead of the pack.
Wasn't much of a track. Just some turns in the middle of a dry lake bed. I had more fun on that than any track I've rode honestly. I'm not much of a fan of jumps.
