PC Trouble

Hey guys, I've posted this before but I figure I'll post it one more time to maybe see if I can get some answers before the SX season. Here are my specs.

AMD Athlon(tm) 64 X2 Dual Core Processor 4400+
2.31 GHz, 3.25 GB of RAM

I also have a SPARKLE SXS2501024D3-NM GeForce GTS 250 1GB 256-bit GDDR3 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready SLI Support Video Card

My gameplay seems to be really choppy. It says I'm running 30-40 FPS with 16 people but it is just the slightest bit choppy. I feel like I should be able to atleast run 20 people and get a smooth framerate if I have my resolution and graphic settings all the way down. All my drivers are updated. Any suggestions?

It would be awesome if I could get this thing goin before the series starts.

Says I should be able to run BFBC2, but ofcourse not even close.
