What I really want to know is why our senators are arguing about religion instead of what cuts to make in order to eliminate out $1,000,000,000,000 yearly deficit. But even my ignorant and uneducated self can see that is a topic better discussed in the vital social topics thread. So here is another picture of a human baby elvolving from an animal.

Of course organisms evolve, but what I want to know is how a scientist can "freeze E. coli in time." I assume that they're not just putting it in a freezer, because it would probably die... right? Please clue me in on this.

I personally feel like a god created everything, which then evolved into the world of today, but none of us will really know until we die, will we?

What I mean is that my Christian beliefs will be confirmed if I end up in heaven or hell, but I guess there's a possibility of a complete nothingness where I won't know anything and will just cease to exist.

I don't believe in any religion because the thought of heaven and hell to me just seems too at fetched, but I wouldn't say I was an atheist, because I don't think things such as gods exist but I don't think there is just nothing when you die, because I think that seems too simple
