Musician's Thread

I've heard conversation coming out of animal pens that is more intelligent than what is going on in here.

I love the clock in the background to reassure that he's not being sped up.

Other than that...holy shit.

I'm sure there's a way to edit it so that the clock remains the same speed but the actual playing is faster, but I do believe that this is legit. Either way, it's damn impressive just the same.

There's also people who actually achieve something without cheating...it's just the cheaters that have created that skepticism. Yngwie did Flight of the Bumblebee a while back.

I've been trying to learn guitar for a few weeks now..
I'm starting to think my fingers are trying to tell me something.. like, "maybe you should try the drums.."

on a side note. these kids make many 46 & 2 covers run for the hills..
another reason why i'm starting to think that starting to learn an instument at age 25 is an exercise in futility.

Yea, you're a bit late to the party but I'm sure you could still figure it out. I like to look at each instrument like a language, and I would recommend you learn guitar with that kind of approach. It's gonna be hard at first, and you're gonna be confused beyond description for a while, but then once you get into it it gets a little bit easier to learn each new thing. Just learn all the fundamentals before you try actually learning songs and you should pull through in no time.

Btw, that cover was really good. I don't know the song, but I know a good cover when I hear one, and that is definitely a good one.

Yngwie did that years and years, and years ago. Me personally it is mad respect if someone can play that fast, but there is no soul just useless notes being repeated at a high rate. I love watching sweep picking, arpeggios etc etc but I leave not being satisfied. You give me some SRV, Bonamassa, John Mayer, Satch, Vai I will blow a load hahaha.
