I was thinking about that. but I'm not so fast in the c-spec. I'll probably end up doing maybe one c-spec race in total.
Yeah it require a different driving style than the other cars by actually going slower in turns to do well, but I would deffiantly do C-spec if the FGT got off WSCS car list.
BTW are you doing GES this weekend? Just figure out yesterday that this round was this saturday, so I've been learning a completely new track and trying to work on a setup with my team mates by only getting high 2:06's as PB.
Really wish I had tripple screens right now
I can't race this weekend. I would be in the #73 car and I think we're in 4th in the championship at the moment. I was running 2:06's and could get into the 2:05's. Family stuff this weekend though and I can't do anything about it.
Did a few laps in WSCS last night while I was half asleep in the HPD. I'm slow around Watkins in any car and ran a 1:31.9 after 8 laps. Thats about a second off Amico who is my "rival" i guess, but since I'm about a second a lap off at Watkins I'll take it.
First time back on iRacing this week since moving to uni in september. GT3 challenge at Interlagos is so much fun, that is, if you can make it through the first turn carnage
What are people's thoughts on the best driving sim on PC currently. With the exception of iRacing. There is Assetto Corsa, Project Cars, Stock Car Game etc. I want to sink my teeth into one but I dunno where to start. So what one seems to be the best?
I'm waiting for AC to update now. My pc hasn't been plugged in for about 3 months so it's a lengthy download. I actually forgot I had AC haha. Watched a review and they made it seem like it wasn't to flash. But I'll still give it a crack and see what I think.
rFactor 2. No polish. But even raw it's the best game out there. Definitely takes some time and adjusting to see how amazing it really is. Driving model, once you've settled in, is second to none. Seriously. I've went on rants about how great it is, but will always be understated because of the lack of polish. It's not even a bias, I could care less if its great, but it is. I'd be happy to pretend iRacing is amazing, but it's so lame in comparison..
I've downloaded the F1 2015 mod for AC and it's amazing, So much fun. Although the force feedback feels a bit lame. Some ripple strips in Spa don't effect the wheel at all. Also today (first time I've used my PC in months) is the hottest I have seen it run ever. But I don't know whether it's just AC doing it or what. Because MXS doesn't make it heat up at all. Whereas while playing AC it got up into the 90's.

Do you have a link for that? I've been looking for it but couldn't find it. I had the pre-release but since the update none of it works.
