http://www.amasupercross.com/rules/pdf/ ... 14_Web.pdf, page 27AMA SX Rulebook wrote:Yellow Flag or Yellow Flashing Light:
1. Indicates serious hazard on or near the track. This includes
the sighting or cool down laps.
2. Passing is allowed
3. Proceed with extreme caution.
To say that there's no action needed in the event of a yellow flag would be ignorant. You don't have a leg to stand on when you jump after you're given a warning and subsequently run into some dude. Obviously you want to hold your positions and you're in the heat of the moment, but I think it's stupid to jump a section like that when something is obviously going down, especially when it's just a heat race.
Obviously it's easy to speculate. Would have been more interesting if Seely wasn't so professional about it during the podium interview he did.

Re: 2015 SX Discussion
I've always thought you couldn't pass on a yellow? Huh.
I can't wait to see Musquin and Webb at Vegas. Heck, maybe Bogle will make something happen too. That's probably just wishful thinking, though.
Also, I've grown to like Tomac. Wasn't a big fan of him at the beginning of the season, his demeanor just seemed robotic and cocky in a way. But with the way his season has gone, I think he's learned a lot and it's cool to see him being honest and showing some expression on the box. That and he's always doing cool shit on the track.

That was a Hill of a comeback ride by the #32 KTM. Shit luck for him this season.

Re: 2015 SX Discussion
no joke he has the speed to even challenge cooper (if cooper wasnt having the best ride) but seriously his luck has been shit like when justin was leading at i think anaheim 2 or 3 and lost it in the sand that just shows he has the speed but hopefully his luck turns around at outdoorsTeamHavocRacing wrote:That was a Hill of a comeback ride by the #32 KTM. Grats to Aaron Plessinger too! Hope he has an MXS sticker on his bike.

Why do they keep saying McElrath is on Wilson's bike?

Supercross at 9am. I think other venues should pick up the early schedule, too.

Re: 2015 SX Discussion
Daytime format is as American as baseball. 'Murica! The dirt looked sick as too. The slo-mo on McElrath's save evidenced that. you don't see that many ruts too often either, Musquin riding right on the side of the tuff blocks in the whoops! Some of the turns I saw were also real grippy looking. Bummer I missed so many races this year, been a good one despite the the dynasty building by KTM which ain't a bad thing since Hill rides one.
Bring on Vegas and the Natty's!

Re: 2015 SX Discussion
I could only imagine how rushed the program was during the day for the riders, but as a fan, I quite liked the daytime show as opposed to staying up late to watch the main events.
Re: 2015 SX Discussion
I was at work the whole time they were on. Not stoked about the daytime schedule.
Re: 2015 SX Discussion
Daytime schedule is for all the 80 year olds.
