I've heard conversation coming out of animal pens that is more intelligent than what is going on in here.

So Dirt rally update Modern Masters just got released and I can with confidence say that the 2007 Ford Focus is a blast to drive. it can get a bit twitchy when the road is bumpy but that just adds to the fun (might also be fixable with a good setup). don't know if its faster than the 2001 subaru, will need to do some testing on that. but I first need to get some rest after wrestling with the Ford :P

I need a game to fuck around with. I've never played sims but heard it was great. Should I try SIMS, ArmA or CSGO?

Sims as in the people controlling from EA, Sims? No. I've never made it past a week with that game, micromanaging how someone lives then you suddenly realize they are way better at life than you sucks.

What do you want to get out of the game? I've personally loved playing Cities Skylines lately and recently got back into Dirty Bomb after my rant against CSGO. I've got 140+ games on Steam so I'm sure I can give you a good suggestion if you know what you are looking to play/like to play.

I don't know. The only video game I play is MXS. I played Project cars for a few days but got bored of it. I just know those titles were huge so I'm sure they're entertaining.

In their own right they are. ARMA is cool as a milsim but the worst to try and lone wolf in. Sims, I've already shared my opinion on, it can be fun but to manage a job, hygiene, entertainment, money for a virtual me seems odd considering how bad I am at it for myself. CSGO, can be fun and then extremely frustrating because of the odd gun mechanic. If you can get good at it and learn the maps, you will most likely enjoy it but I'm not one of them.

Here is a list of some of my top rated/played in my library. I think they are worth it and you can pick from there. Most of these are single player, story driven games so if these don't fit your fancy I can try something else.

Skyrim
Rocket League
Cities Skylines
XCOM Enemy Unknown
Total War Empire/Rome II/Attila
Dishonored
Block N Load
Shadow of Mordor
Banished
GTA V
The Forest
Chivalry
Portal 1/2
Wolfenstein New Order/Old Blood
Bioshock 1/2/Infinite
Tomb Raider
Insurgency
Dirty Bomb

That should get you started.

CS:GO is about being "in". If that's what you enjoy, then CS:GO for it. It's run on a 12 year old platform that can be exploited with a single keystroke running with crappy physics. How bad do you want to belong? How important is gameplay vs. popularity in your mind?

I'll put my list of my most played games with a rating..

CSGO: 7/10. Really frustrating as Puma said
Arma 3: 8/10. Again, not much fun to play alone, but with friends it's a blast.
Mount&Blade Warband: 10/10. One of my favorite all time games
GMod: 5/10. Can be fun at times, usually boring
Arma 2: 7/10. It's alright
Insurgency: 9/10. Really fun tactical shooter
Rocket League: 10.5/10. Love this game. Still trying to get good.
Dirt Rally: 10/10. Recently just started getting into this game and it's a blast.

I've got 51 and the After Dark DLC. One of the best city builder's I've ever played.
