MXS Midwest ride day

I've heard conversation coming out of animal pens that is more intelligent than what is going on in here.

MC is basically a straight shot up Illinois 40 from Sunset. I rode Sunset yesterday and man the new changes are so much fun. It flows real well now and is pretty high speed. Not to mention that new step up is gnarly.

Goll durn raht! The war ain't over, we're just gath'in' our ass-ets a-gen.

Also, do any of these, here tracks have an SX style track? Obviously for slow people and easy. I much prefer SX style tracks to gnarly high speed stuff. But I'll ride whatever.

Iowa's tracks are goony as. The only good track is Oak Ridge which is GNARLY big, and it's not open yet. Michigan is one hell of a haul for anyone that doesn't live in Michigan  I say either Sunset Ridge (Just built a 130ft uphill triple), Mt. Carroll (possibly best track in Illinois), or Kahoka (Sick gnar ruts, really rough, b-e-a-utiful dirt). Now that Loretta's is over I can forsure hit this.

Talking about which track to have it at is so 7 pages ago. We're having it at sunset ridge. Just waiting to figure out when. :)

Kahoka is out. There were some heavy rains several weeks ago that kind of washed a lot of the track away and Mike, being the character he is, hasn't got it fixed up yet. Said he's closed for the summer on facebook.

this is planned for the fall though no? I want to hit kahoka up atleast on the way back if it isn't our primary so I'm still holding hope. Big jumps mean absolutley nothing to me. I want a fun track with options for everyone because me and the 85's are hitting the same stuff. Then again its been what feels like half the year has gone by and I haven't rode so possibly worse than that.

Wouldn't get my hopes up too much if I were you. You never know what Mike's going to do.
