2016 MXON Team USA

I've heard conversation coming out of animal pens that is more intelligent than what is going on in here.

I would have totally ended up landing on Anderson if I were the guy.

I'd be interested to know how much the neck brace did in that collision. It seems like an impact from the top like that would be pretty ideal for that style of brace. Atlas and Airoh could each find a pretty solid ad out of this one.

From the video it looked like his throat area hit the bar pretty good too, not much you can do for protection in that area though.

For the record I think anderson rides like a bonehead in general but his is 100% not his fault in the video buddy just posted the camera is lower than eye level and you can still clearly see anderson over the lip of the jump and the jap still chose to hit the jump in the EXACT SAME LINE anderson was already occupying. Just goes to show that asians are about as good at riding dirtbikes as the are at driving.

It's your fault because you parked on a blind corner where no one else would be able to see you until it's too late. Using your logic it's my responsibility to slow down to almost a stop on the off chance that you'd stopped.
You would be 100% at fault. No ifs, ands or buts.

Do you even know him?

Just going to quote myself from a different topic. (I like bedtime story's)
Webb and Barcia ... nicest Americans (riders) out there imo.
I could tell you a thousand stories of meetings with top guys, but to state that phrase I'll leave it with 2.

Webb was at the SX Bercy-Lille last year. After a terrible crash in practice it was time for the break before the evening program kicked off. So these guys hang around for not too long and go to dinner. Right after practice we went down stairs and there will some guys in the paddock, of which Cooper Webb. "The little arrogant prick from the US scene .. mheh, let's do an interview with him, people want to read that". My brother walked up to him, not expecting much since he seemed to be cocky on tv and had a huge crash in practice. But instead Webb took his time and the interview became a conversation instead of a Q & A. Webb asking even how it came my brother was limping (he has an handicap) . Really cool dude.

Afterwards my brother also had a chitchat with Musquin who was attending the race. And of course the entire title battle of the outdoors came up, also Webb his riding style and how he rode for his teammate. But even Musquin respected Cooper Webb and called him a friend. On the tracks it's all about the racing, but off the track was Cooper the only guy to continuously, week in, week out, ask how Marvin's brother was doing and how his recovery was going, and Marvin with nearly tears in his eyes added to that, that Webb really meant it and was interested in the situation.

And besides that. Just purely watching at the performance I think Webb did darn well. I would really like to know what was on the pitboard though. Because Webb was battling sooo hard with Febvre ... While if he got passed by Febvre, the US would still have won it with 1pt over France. And I am not sure if Webb was aware of that...

BTW, why are we trying to blame any rider for that incident with Jason Anderson? Anderson was going way below race pace and the flaggers didn't thought it was necessary to give waved yellows or even red cross flag.... Why not? Because he was still on the bike???
That already went through my mind after Anstie's incident last year in Ernee, when Rauchenecker jumped on top of him. And going to races week in, week out I see too many cases where a rider rolls the jump and the flagger decides not to flag simply "because it's not a crash"....
Ironically there were like 100 waved yellows when he was cleaned OFF the track and the racetrack was all clear :|
