2013 AMA Supercross Discussion

I've heard conversation coming out of animal pens that is more intelligent than what is going on in here.

Interesting. I've never really picked up on that with his tweets. If you met the kid he's about as modest as it gets (for a pro that rides for munn ktm). Good kid really.

Oh yeah I still like him and that was like a 1 out of 100 tweet for him, I by no means think he is a bad guy. Everyone once in awhile though that happens but I guess when you bench race it happens so I'm sure I'm the hypocrite anyways.

Roczen pulling off was a huge bonehead move. Finish 11th or 12th in the heat, good gate pick in the LCQ, win and go to the main, or do what he did and be 20 gates on the outside on a 15 foot start straight

Yeah, definitely stupid of him. I think the puppet master is a Roczen fan, though.

I bet DeCoster gave Roczen a right spanking after that one, what the fuck was he thinking

Too bad Tomac forgot where the throttle was because we could have been in for a really interesting final in Vegas.

So we're set for some fireworks in both 250 classes this weekend.
Roczen is so stupid by pulling off to 'save energy' whatever pro riders do this should never be an excuse ... they get paid to ride so finishing out 6 laps no matter the position shouldn't be to bad.
Anyway atleast bost East and West gonna be heavy for the title. Like the new Racer x Poll - My vote goes to Roczen & Hahn for a title.
Allthought i like Musquin most out of all 250 riders in usa most likely he'll have the hardest time to seal the deal i think. Unless Hahn has some very bad luck or Wharton does some dirty stuff like previous weeks.. We'll see it should be a good one and hope at least 1 out of the 2 250 champions is from europe :>

I'm hoping the Honda boys can make it 2 for 2 again, but it's going to be a battle. It's funny though, they're in totally different positions, Hahn's gotta stay solid, and Tomac's got to make some shit happen.

Anyone remember Vegas 2009 where Chad Reed had to finish a certain number of places ahead of James Stewart to win the title? In the race Stewart was 2nd and Reed was 3rd and Stewart tried to let Reed go by but Reed wouldn't and then Reed tried to take Stewart out on the big sweeper in the hope that Stewart would drop back enough positions.

That's pretty much what Tomac is going to have to do if he wants to win the title in my opinion. Of course Roczen could crash or get injured in practice or any number of things but if it comes down to the main and they're both riding well then Tomac is going to have to go for the jugular on Roczen.

that pretty much sums up why i hate the guy. no respect. if you cant win without taking someone out, then you dont deserve to win.

I disagree. Taking someone out under normal circumstances is not cool though.

Racing is racing, if thats what he had to do to win, then so be it..

that attitude right there is exactly why mx sim sucks most of the time. nobody has respect. i guess i must be weird or something. because to me, a win is worth nothing if i didnt earn it. and taking some one out its not earning it. its being a coward and taking the easy way out. if reed wanted to win the championship, he should have done better in early rounds. not stoop to the fucking floor, and wait for someone so you can try and ruin everything that they worked for. selfish.

It takes skill to take someone out in MXS, though.

Everyone forgets the time Villi decided to 3rd gear wide open mxs punt dungey for the supercross title. I can't recal what race it was but I think it was the St. Louis and then a few laps later he crashes.
