my unforunate dilemna

I've heard conversation coming out of animal pens that is more intelligent than what is going on in here.

Thank you david for all your work and models and tracks, love that national we tested.

Assuming you're had a hard drive fail, a lot of people claim you can bring it back long enough to recover your data by freezing the drive. Try "freeze hard drive recovery" on google. I've never had to do it myself but it's worth a shot if you don't have any backups.

Worked for my uncle eh, got those cold compress used for injuries and let on it and voila, worked for some time, suficient to save some files. Wont work on every case though with his it worked, with mine doesnt.
Note if its a really important HD there are allot of company that offer the job of recovering data on a damaged HD

Man, I would probably smash my computer to bits if I'd lost something similar to that, like some engineering project I'd been working on or something, (luckily for me it would probably be on a network), then it would be useless.

So sad to hear man, hope you find something to brighten this situation. I know you'll get back into it eventually, maybe not for this game, but your passion will lift you back up!

As the wise (retarded mostly) Kanye West said, "N-n-n now that that don't kill me, can only make me stronger."

Sorry to hear man :(. Will you just need to buy a new hd? You can find some pretty good hd's for under $50 in the 200-300GB range. For example: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a ... 6822136113

Hope you get it sorted out soon.

SSSOOO shitty dude!! As you know (I told u on xbox live) that my laptop crapped out too. All it does is turn on, the screen turns grey, I hit ctrl+alt+delete and the screen turns black. Thats all that happens, I'm thinking its my HD too. I can totally feel your pain tho, I had everything on there!! Its not the stuff that has been released that sucks, its the tracks/models/skins/objects that HAVEN'T been released and that nobody else has, that can't be easily replaced. What happened to the money you won from the track contest?? I know you are loaded now that you won that contest  In all seriousness, I would be willing to donate to fix your computer, maybe 5 or 10 bucks. In the meantime, at all school get togethers/parties, inform the women that sex will no longer be free, they will have to pay 10-20 dollars depending on what you gotta do to please them, then when they say why, say, "Niggas are broke these days!!"

the tower is at the university tech support now, they're gonna check it out and diagnose it. it's most likely that the motherboard took a shit on me. thanks for the monetary thoughts, but i don't really need anything yet, if at all. I'll just have to figure out what i need to get in a couple days i guess. if it is the mother board i should have not lost any of my work, hopefully that is the case.
