I've heard conversation coming out of animal pens that is more intelligent than what is going on in here.

did you have it on silent?
My phone alarm still goes off when it's on silent. Make sure the ringer volume is turned up. It's happened to me a few times.

Go to order new bars and handguards, and I was told my dad already ordered them... Sweet! Only thing is, I wanted Protapers instead of Renthals. Reason being: I crashed much harder on my YZ than I have on my KTM. I know its all about point of impact, but I've never bent a set of ProTapers, and I bent my Renthals in the first 8 hours of riding time on my bike... So now I gotta get my dad to phone back to confirm that I want ProTaper Countor CR Mid bend bars (Pro tapers version of the OEM KTM/Suzuki bend Renthal bars).

I ordered twinwall 997's because my protapers bent pretty easy.

I had a set of twinwalls that bent on my ttr-125.

Yet my stock pro-tapers on my 250f have yet to bend. And theyve been through some pretty rough crashes.

Oh well I didn't pay for them haha. My stock Pro tapes bent a few times. The crashes were kinda huge but oh well.

I can't stand the rigidity of Twin Walls. They give me arm pump worse than normal. I've had good luck with Pro Tapers. They've survived some pretty rough crashes. I run the Pastrana/RM Low bend.

I'm in the same boat. That and I HATE crossbars. I don't know what it is. I used to love them but I grew to like the extra flex with not having one. I never bent the Protapers on my YZ450 or my YZ250. Yet I crash in sand and bend renthals... BS.

As you can see, the throttle side is bent and rolled foreward after the clamp, and is also bent down slightly. I can see stress marks on the bars where they bent. Grooossssss.

Not really bs.. When the bar hits sand, it digs down and plants itself, therefor bending. On hardpack, it just bounces.

But yeah, twinwalls are way to rigid for me.

I guess that makes sense. That and I was 3rd wide when I crashed, and apparently my bike carthweeled a few times. I'm actually surprised I didn't break anything. Like fuck, I'm even more surprised I didn't bend a lever!

Levers only bend when the bike tips over while sitting in the pits

Buy some expensive bendy levers. I bought some Sunline V1's over a year ago and have yet to see them perform their intended function. They do come in handy when loading bikes into a truck though. If the bike's bars are going to be hitting, you can just fold a lever up or down and cinch the other bike down a tad more so its grip is where the lever would have been.
