Last I checked I think they had some 18 inch monitors for like $80 or so. Glad I could help, and really glad to hear building it doesn't worry you. I was afraid after I did that because I didn't even think to ask if you could build one or not. Building PC's is pretty fun for me, nerd enough, so I had some time to kill. Hope he enjoys it.

When I built my computer, it was super fun and actually way easier than I had thought it was going to be. Great experience for sure.

Mr. Kittencheeseburger, I use Microsoft Security Essentials and I haven't had any problems, so far. Every time it says my computer is "Potentially Unprotected" I just scan it and it goes back to being protected.

My parents still suggest I get Norton, but I don't wanna spend like $60.

Microsoft Security Essentials is probably the best for Windows and it's free!

This was an 05 3/4 ton duramax. Big turbo, injectors, pistons, rods, exhaust, intake, and EFI live. Making roughly 600 at the wheels. It has 35's on it and the rear tires are bald

This is an old picture (from 08). Has a headache rack, tool box, and bald rear tires now.

Got a nasty virus on my computer somehow. It was the: "Department of Justice, DOJ Virus" which locks your computer whenever you start it up and doesn't allow you to boot in any sort of safe mode and tells you to pay $300 and yada yada yada and of course I got one of the most evolved forms of it which made in a pain in the arse to deal with. After spending all morning doing research and messing with my PC I ended up using HitmanPro Kickstart on a flashdrive to clean it up, but damn what a mess...

Guess it's time to invest in a real AntiVirus/Malware, was using AVG free while this happened. What would you guys recommend? At this point I'll probably be shelling out the money for Norton but wanted to see if you guys had any other suggestions, thanks.
This is an extremely common virus, guy.

Restart the PC, log in as a guest, and a do a system restore to like a week before.

I've had this virus and when I did this, it completely wiped the bug out and haven't had a problem since.

I use malwarebytes and AVG free version, and I've honestly not had a problem since I started the combo.

Im following up that route, the compression in the truck is shot so took it to a place and decided tmmrw im going to have him rebuild it with a overhaul kit (1200$) then send off to a local machine shop which thankfully this girl works at with her brother so im getting a fat hookup. Basically rebuilding my 7.3 diesel for $2000 complete with 18 month warranty and i only bought the truck for $2000. So im really only in it all for like 4500 $ which is still a kickass deal for a diesel. Im setting it up to become a 500hp project though. The guy also has a set of stage 1 injectors at the shop :) wish i had another 1000$ laying around.

I don't know about 7.3's, but injectors for every other diesel are around $1000 a piece. A full set of stockies for a 5.9 cummins is 6k, and a full set of stockies for a 6.0 or a duramax is 7-8k...

lord have mercy if spend that kind of money

brand new injectors are about 300$ USD NEW not reman are 150-250 and setup at stock/stage 1.Sending off your injectors from stage 1-3 should cost no more then 1k-2k with core exchanged and if you did proper research.

A brand new crate motor is 4-5k for a DIESEL not gas and a new crated longblock modded motor is 7-10k. I mean if they were 1k a peice you would have a 6-8k right there alone without the block or anything?

My bad, I just checked the price of injectors for a Cummins from BD and a set is 4-5k. To buy each one separately it would run you 5500-6k though. This is for the full injector though, not a rebuild with a larger nozzle. A 5.9 and 6.7 cummins longblock is $10,200. I think at the Ford dealer the salesman was trying to tell us the motor alone for a 6.7 scorpion was 26k  I think he's about 10k out. 16k sounds more like it. Diesel engines aren't cheap.

http://www.engineserviceinc.net/light_duty.html

you mean the 12v or 24v 5.9 cummins like these ? lets just round up to $4k

I wouldn't mine doing a doing one of those older cummins swap into my ford if i could find one, those inlines 6's are awesome no doubt with mpg and torque and the older ones are pretty cheap to mod all you need is a screwdriver hahah :) thats what i hear at least.

http://shop.fullforcediesel.com/

this is who the shop uses and also another local huge diesel place in phoenix uses.

http://shop.fullforcediesel.com/94-03-S ... 403ST1.htm

^ i honesty think i might get these while im at it these are the one he has at his shop,id always go w reman over brand new ones because well there injectors and warranties and about a 1k savings.

i hear http://www.blackwaterengines.com/ does some pretty cool stuff too, ive found most of this stuff all out in about a days work of researching forums and the net.

Would have loved for it to have been that simple for me but those options weren't available, trust me, I tried. Haha.
