Stormz, I like you, but seriously. He didn't disprove evolution, or he'd be winning a noble prize. Evolution is a process of something turning into a more complex and/or more fit form. Evolution is practically a fact. A scientific theory is "a well-substantiated explanation of some aspect of the natural world, based on a body of knowledge that has been repeatedly confirmed through observation and experiment." There isn't really much room to debate if things evolve, it's been observed so many times. The only debate is on how things evolve.
Here's an easy example of evolution. The reason there are new flu vaccines each year? Evolution. The flu mutates into a more resistant version. Another example, Darwin's finches. "This is not going to be a simple recap of Darwin’s original observations of adaptation amongst the finches of the Galapagos. These finches are still helping evolution be understood. Peter and Rosemary Grant studied the finches on one of the Galapagos Islands, and have observed evolutionary change caused by direct competition of two rival species. The medium ground finch was well established on the isle of Daphne, and had been studied in depth. Its beak was suited perfectly for cracking large nuts. In 1982, the large ground finch from a neighboring island arrived. These larger finches could drive away the native medium ground finches and would eat all the large nuts. Over the period of study, the medium ground finches of Daphne island were found to have developed smaller beaks more suited to the smaller nuts, ignored by the invading larger finches. This is a classic study in evolutionary biology."
More proof? We share 98% of our DNA with Chimpanzees, 85% with Zebra Fish, 36% with Fruit Flies, 21% with Round Worms, and 15% with Mustard Grass? Why? BECAUSE WE EVOLVED FROM A COMMON ANCESTOR.

For something to turn into a "human," well honestly that's not happening, nothing will evolve into us ever again. However, on another planet, for all we know there are simple single celled organisms, and in a billion years, they will have evolved past human like intelligence. Also, we aren't the only intelligent life, we are just more intelligent than other species. Orangutans and Chimpanzees are very smart, they are capable of using and making tools, and have been shown to be self aware. Also, evolution on a large scale takes millions of years, we aren't going to see chimpanzees become super smart in twenty years.

I disagree with the whole religion shouldn't be taught to people under the age of 12. It should be, but multiple religions, and science should be stressed more than religion. Science fixes things, science drives the world forward, science is our future and always has been. Religion just slows progress down.
