I used to think I wanted one. That was until I found one for sale and went and looked at it. Opened the hood and left. Didn't even sit in it. It looked worse than working on my stupid Mini.

Yeah, that's not the only car I'm looking at though. Lookin for a 300ZX, 350Z, 240SX with a SR20DET swap, a WRX, RX7....fuck it I'll even take a fucking Miata if it doesn't have a billion miles on it.

Everything is expensive as fuck. I see "2004 Subaru Impreza WRX (Blob Eye) - $7500", so I look at it, and oh boy it has almost 160,000 miles on it. Should've expected that from a WRX priced at $7500.

Welcome to the world of cars. Hope you have a decent amount of money and a steady income. I almost got into cars luckily I didn't. I usually shy away from older cars at least in my area because of the winter conditions/road salt. Some of the older vehicles are actually over built unlike the newer cars today. I prefer to stick to newer cars less things to worry about. Biggest issue with tuner/jdm is people start messing around with them and some people have no clue what they are doing. Finding a sought after car unmolested is really tough. I try not to get too caught up in a certain car unless you are dead set on it (i.e mk4 supra TT w/ 6spd manual). To me cars are just transportation and a huge money sink. If cars are your hobby then by all means enjoy them. It's your money do what you want with it.

@pulse nice w58 I'm surprised you got it for that cheap thought there was a premium for those transmissions. I wanted to get a manual SC300, but they are really rare.
