My local, its like 10-15 mins from the middle of the city. The sand dunes stretch forever, I think its like 15km across and like 1 or 2 back in places. That picture kwic posted looks really average since it's just sand for a little bit then straight grass

Yeah that's just Kits beach(which is just a tourist beach) in vancouver about 30 minutes away from my house and about 10 minutes from the local mountains. Where do you live Ryan??
