2016 SX Discussion

I've heard conversation coming out of animal pens that is more intelligent than what is going on in here.

Not that I know anything at all really, but could it be a scenario that Aldon's program is too much of a "grown up" program? Like Roczen left, and now AC.
Well AC has yet to find success on the big bike training with Aldon. Don't blame him for wanting a change. Cooper Webb and J-Mart did just fine without Aldon Baker.

I don't know how Dirt Wurx do it. But this is a whole different sight then the flooded stadium from only a few days ago.
Luckily I didn't took the bet against my brother for whether it would be a mud race or not. He made a strong point as well "Since the arrival of Dirt Wurx there were only mud races when it actually rained during the night program". And he's very close to the truth with that one.

Ryan Dungey said, "Dream come true," about being on the Wheaties box and I'm not even sure he convinced himself that that was true. It's awesome, yeah, but not really dream come true. All though, I guess the dude's dreams already did come true. Good looking wife, 2016 defending champion in both seasons, and he's pretty much the 1,000,000:1 favorite to win the title, so I can see why Wheaties would be his dream now

Maybe because its something different than they would normally put on there? Most of the athletes that go on it are more "mainstream" sports like Basketball, Football, Golf, Olympians, etc. According to Wikipedia he is the first Motocross rider to ever be featured on it.

That definitely is a feat. I can imagine him as a kid looking at his cereal box too looking up to whoever was featured on it. But as you get older and in a sport like this epecially, I doubt you really even think "Man I hope I can get on the Wheaties box!" anymore considering they've never featured a MX racer before. So even though the dream was years ago, it was still a dream to the guy. Or if you don't buy that he wanted to be on a cereal box maybe his dream is to take this sport to new levels and reaching a wider audience--something a cereal box can do.

It's like the Chase Sexton interview I read the other day about it being his dream since he started riding to be on the "GEICO Honda Team".

Now if only Wheaties didn't taste like ass. I'll still have to pick up a box, though.

Guys I'm pretty afraid about watching the race as an non american... Looks like supercrosslive just shows the training this year and only fox sports the main show.

Does any1 have a good link already to watch it live or on demand? Slicknick is a good alternative for it but sometimes it takes 1-2 days to watch it.

I thought I read somewhere that people outside the US can stream it live online.

Welp, this will be the first time since '07 that I haven't had a Hill to root for at A1('cept the year after Josh's flip failed). His folks get a break until Justin starts his east coast campaign. They've been full-on moto mode since the mid '90's. Stoked to see how tonight pans out.
