I'm pretty sure Pichon knew he had Everts' number the entire time they were battling. He just looked like he was cruising up behind him, riding at about 50% effort. Then when they started battling he could put the RM wherever the fuck he wanted while Everts was fighting his four stroke pig. Then after Everts went off to have his front wheel changed it looked Pichon started charging. Beautiful battle.

his style, technique, bike control, everything is just impeccable, on what is quite a rough track!
didnt really look like a 'battle' with everts, looked like pichon could ride past him when ever he wanted even though everts was riding dirty as f**k

its quite strange watching footage from 2003, before "the scrub" got integrated into everybody's style

Look how much moto swag I have! That was back in 03, I was on a factory yamaha, james stewart and I had some gnarly battles going, but I was faster, just like I was faster than chad reed when he was there. I got 3rd in 250a stock, 2nd in tt-r 125a mod, and I won mini faggot class. But then my career went downhill but I could still come back and rape all of the pros if I got a ride.
