Re: Whats your pc?
I can't enter my BIOS? Upon starting the computer, it says to press 'Del' to enter BIOS, and even if I spam it it goes straight to windows? I tried F2, tried F8, F11 and nothing. I even tried with another keyboard and nothing. Any help? My MB is an MSI H97 PC Mate. It's probably a noobish mistake, but I can't figure it out. I opened the BIOS before when I built the PC..

Read your mobo manual, some motherboards only initialize a few USB ports at first so you will want to be plugged into one of those.sapelgas431 wrote:I can't enter my BIOS? Re: Whats your pc?
Mine doesn't turn on USB3 until after BIOS because of a driver thing. Might check that.

Re: Whats your pc?
Went through and cleaned the shitbox today out of boredom. My room is so dusty with the hardwood floor and there wasn't a filter over the intake fan. Yuck. Plus I tried to manage the cables better but the case isn't set up very well for it. Still better though. Also flipped the power supply so it's on it's own air cycle.

Re: Whats your pc?
Is that yours or are you going to buy it? If you want 16GB, why not 2x8 instead of 4x4? And just don't go for that keyboard, it's rubbish for the price.Boblob801 wrote:Uh =/

Aussie prices are so ridiculous, hurts everytime I see it.
Same critiques though. The RAM is probably cheaper at 2x8 and I'm not a fan of any Razer products.

Re: Whats your pc?
It's funny you say that xD You're likely right about the ram, but I do have the 4 slots and I figured you get better speeds with smaller ram across more slots. I could be wrong but hey. As for Razer, I have heard this a few times but I also have a friend / flatmate that has one and works okay. Price wise you'd be surprised that it's an average price compared to most others keyboards haha. And yes this broke my bank xD

Re: Whats your pc?
It's the same price as most high end mechanical keyboards. The difference is that practically all the mechanical keyboards in that price range have cherry mx switches, while Razer uses khail and imo the whole keyboard body just feels cheap.Boblob801 wrote:As for Razer, I have heard this a few times but I also have a friend / flatmate that has one and works okay. Re: Whats your pc?
Yeah, I'm not a fan of mechanicals that aren't Cherry. I've owned two Cherry keyboards from Corsair, Brown and Red and in the downtime between the two I used a third party mech switch and after using a membrane keyboard for so long never, ever did I think I would feel a difference but I did. Granted the membranes I use at work are the lowest on the pole but I could feel a difference between the two mech switches. If the K70 is comparable I recommend the shit out of it, Cherry and backlighting are the two best things ever. About your RAM, in theory you are correct but most times it also comes down to drivers. Same thing with GPU's in SLI/XF on paper they should double performance when you add two but most cases you are lucky to get a 50% increase. Same thing, most are optimized for 2 and diminishing returns at 4. At DDR4 speeds you most likely wouldn't feel any sort of difference between the two options.
Sweet recable job. I've done a few for those cheaper case and they do just forgo alot of the normal cable routing holes you get used to in other cases.

That processor is about equal to their minimum requirements, you meet the ram requirements and your graphics card is quite a better than the minimum requirements. So I'd say you're good to go. Won't get the highest quality but definitely playable.Pushin The Limits wrote:Wrong processor sorry.
