Whats your pc?

I've heard conversation coming out of animal pens that is more intelligent than what is going on in here.

Just noticed I forgot my RAM because it was pulled from my cart. So what I was going to get is now Sold Out but, my plan was to get atleast 8GB(2x4GB) and getting more sticks of 4GB as needed.

Not a good gauge.

Anyways, another SSD drive couldn't hurt. I've got two 64Gb ones which I use only for games and they're already full. Then again, installing games into an SSD is way faster, so if you won't mind some install/uninstall grief, one should suffice.

I didn;t think it was a good gauge but the games I play is a pretty small list and I usually stop playing them once the next big thing comes out. I might upgrade to an 80GB just incase though. Thanks.

Just got this November 24th (early Christmas gift) for college.

Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-2400 CPU @ 3.10GHz (Quad Core), ~3.1GHz (3.4Ghz Turbo Boost...)
Memory: 8192MB RAM
Hard Drive: 500 GB
Video Card: NVIDIA GeForce 8400GS 1GB
Motherboard: MSI PH61A-P35 (B3) Intel Motherboard with UEFI BIOS
Operating System: Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit

I freakin' love it so far. Going to update the graphics card eventually just got a fairly cheap one for the build. Was approx. $550 without Win7.

As I said last night I went hunting again and didn't exactly have a price range in mind just parts and cut back from there. Main reason I am posting parts is I would like someone to give a quick review over my stuff to make sure there will be no problems between chipsets or sockets, no bottlenecking, or maybe you have a better idea for what I could use. I did a pretty thorough check when picking stuff out but it will be my first build so just want to be safe. My goal wasn't to go over $1300 and including shipping my total is $1295. I will be willing to go over that by a few dollars if you guys think it is worth getting that upgrade.

Case - NZXT Tempest 210 (Comes with 1x120mm(Rear) and 1x140mm(top) fan)
Case Fans - 2x120mm fans (front) 1x140mm(top)
I know that getting that many fans probably won't be necessary but I plan on running them on low RPM to reduce noise and I'd rather it be to cold rather than to hot. Fans are cheap anyways.
Motherboard - Gigabyte GA-970A-D3 AMD Motherboard
GPU - Galaxy GTX 560 Fermi 2GB SLI
CPU - AMD FX-6100 3.3GHz 6-Core Processor
PSU - Corsair 800W (80 Plus Certified)
Hard Drive - Seagate 500GB SATA 6.0Gb/s 3.5 Internal
SSD - OCZ Vertex 60GB SATA II 2.5 Internal

The rest like the optical drive, speakers and such don't really matter so I don't feel the need to post them until everything is ordered and final. Will be running Win7.

My only reall question on what to do is the SSD. Should I go bigger? I have a 60GB PS3 and its isn't really close to full but i'm not sure what it saves onto it so I didn't know if that was a good gauge or not.

Thanks for the help in advance.
Sales started today pretty much on NewEgg so I am going to start buying them as they go on sale or just as I think something is at its lowest price. Everything I take it checked out fine? No part suggestions or changes because something won't match?

AMD stuff is so much cheaper than Intel. Why is that? Other than the fact that intel has the popularity. I saw a six core AMD cpu that was way cheaper than the intel quad core that I bought. What are the draw backs?

They're not as fast.

Kevin, I'd look into the 1090/1100t vs. the fx-6100 you have picked, they might be a little more (still around $200), but it seems like they've been a little faster from what I've read.
