I'm still around. We have been working on the track editor for a while now. We are getting semi-close to a release. All the suggestions are in the plan.

Would adding a couple of bike classes (pit bikes and 85cc-like bikes) be too much?? I'm sure it would add some challenge and we could create radically different tracks

Super newb question. How do I download and play on my desktop. I download and extract but I see tons of folders and no idea which one is how I use the game, super confused and would love it if someone could help out.

That would take a while, mostly to create the images for the bike parts. Maybe in a future update though.

look at page 5 for better gear, it was released in the first mod for this game.
