Just did a quick 5 lap test at Spa and my best was a 1:50.6 I could easily see myself getting down to 1:48's with some actual time on the track.

Thanks! I think that my problem is I'm just too scared of the car. It's just so different from anything else in the game.

Yea it's retarded fast. Takes a whole to get your confidence up enough to be able drive into the corners deep enough to even make the car work. Every week my first few laps are terrible because I end up hitting the corners a gear slower than I should be.

So does the game just keep using your best qualifying time and use that for the grid position instead of what you ran in the qualifying session (or if you didn't run in that session)? I keep getting like second on the grid because of my PB in qualifying (not saying it's a bad thing).

If you qualify once a week, your best lap carries over to ever race that week. So technically, you only need to qualify once for as many races as you want.

Oh ok, that's pretty nice actually.

Last race I was in second coming down the first hill at Okayama first lap, didn't get my shift all the way down to third and was stuck in neutral and spun out, x4 and caused a huge pile up . I went off track in the same spot for the same reason but was only an x1. Ran 4 1:51's and my PB before this was a 1:52.0 haha, also had the fastest lap of the race, went + 0 on it so I can't complain after causing that pile up.
