mx vs atv alive gameplay

I've heard conversation coming out of animal pens that is more intelligent than what is going on in here.

You guys crack me up.

If you want us to move to a more realistic experience, which is what we are doing, we have to find a way to still appeal and be accessible to the new consumer... Reflex didn't do that. You guys may think it was really easy, but to most, Reflex was way too hard of a game. In order to add more depth to the game for the core fans, we have to find a way around the more challenging control for a casual user. That's where assists come in. They ASSIST new players at staying on the track.

Cheecks said also that the assist can be off. It seems like yall think it has to be on.
And also, you won't be faster with them on.

Jump assists.

Similar to racing games that have traction control or braking assists.
Except traction control and braking assists exist in real life...

Not really... In a sense you can preload in real life by seat bouncing it, and as there is no seat bounce option or sit/stand button, I don't really see any alternative.

preload, sticky/floaty physics, and epic national environments are three of the things that made mx unleashed and mx vs atv unleashed epic wins in my book. i personally love it. third person view still makes me want to vomit though...

I think we should just take ALIVE for what it truly is, Hopefully a FUN game. I think in a sense, mxs has ruined most of us. We are so addicted to this game, that any other mx game out seems bad with it's physics, sure the " dirty cowboy " is annoying hollering yeeehaw every pass you make, but all these things is what makes mva so special to me. Being able to do things in game on a bike that is not possible is also what makes the General public buy these games. I for one am looking forward to this installment. Just wish PC version was in it's future.

ok chex, got my buy from that last video, the game really seems to have a lot more shape than the early gameplay and screenshots, im liking the physics a lot more, i liked the way the bike handles (kinda like mx unleashed!), so, if you guys put some real freeriding areas in there (not like reflex pleasee! :()i gonna have to buy a x360 goddamn!

hope to get into your boss mind to tell him to port it to pc :P

IMO the hand gestures were a mistake and shouldn't have been put in at all. Maybe if there wasy a seperate button to make it do that, but I think it would still be goony and dumb.

Any animation that is automatic and something you cant control seems stupid to me.

Like pulling tearoff's going wide open though sand rollers, or turning around completely backwards off a face of a jump and screaming...

Whats the point? Why not let the rider control that stuff?

Is the trick system still controled with the right stick? That's another thing i absolutely hated in Reflex.

I could never do a trick consistently, i would go to do a nac-nac, then the guy would just do a random trick.

Just go back to the one button and a direction thing.
