Whats your pc?
Re: Whats your pc?
Completely fucked up on that one August, for some reason I thought you said you had a 7850.
Re: Whats your pc?

Re: Whats your pc?
After I'm done browsing the forum and maybe a moto or two, I'll open up my case to check out that foam or whatever it is and just see how everything is. I'll snap some shots for you technophiles.

Here's a shot of the inside if anyone wants to see. Kind of a sloppy wiring job to be honest, but it gets it done.

LEDs are looking way mo betta.

I'd like to get some orange LEDs for the inside of the case and another fan that will mount on the clear side panel. I have a feeling it would be awesome.

Re: Whats your pc?
Ordered a new rig yesterday, they posted it today and I'm hoping to get it before weekend. Can't wait.
Graphics card: Zotac 560ti 488 cores. Faster than the original 560ti but not quite as fast as the 570. Beats the hd6950 in most games and even the 6970 in some. Also got it for 200€ when the 570 and 6970 are closer to 300€.
CPU: i5 2500k, didn't go for the ivy bridges because I've heard that the gain in gaming is pretty minimal and the 2500k was about 50€ cheaper.
MoBo: Some MSI z68, again didn't go for the z77's to reduce price
Then 8 gigs of DDR3, 550w xfx PSU, some cheap ass atx case and some fans for the total price of 660€. Gonna use my old HD still, but looking to get an SSD drive when I can find a good deal.

APC SMX1500RM2U (1200w UPS)
i7 3930k
Asus Rampage IV Formula
3x EVGA GTX670 SC+ 4GB
4x4GB Corsair Dominator DDR3 2133 (keeps giving me problems at 2133 though, it's on 1866 right now)
OCZ Vertex 4
2x WD Caviar Black 500GB in raid 0
WD Caviar Green 2TB
Corsair AX1200
Phanteks PH-TC14PE
NZXT Sentry Mix fan controller

Kinda mad about the sentry mix, I bought two Delta fans that are rated for 150CFM each, and the fans wouldn't work on the controller for some reason. It's rated for 50w per channel, and the two fans pull 17.4w. They work on my old fan controller though (was going to use that until I felt the sinks on it and they were too hot to touch after less than 5 minutes of testing

Sager Np9150
Nvidia GTX680m 4GB GDDR5
Crucial M4 256gb SSD and 750GB Regular Hard Drive
Intel Core i7 3720QM 2.6ghz
16gb DDR3 1600MHz
15.6" 1920x1080 Screen
I just got this thing and it is crazy for a 15" Laptop. I can put the Stewart Compound on Max Settings 1024x1024 textures then record with fraps at 60fps and it doesn't even lag. It plays Battlefield 3 on Ultra settings too, at about 45 to 50fps.

YZED! I didn't even see yours. That is some sicko gnar gnar stuff you got over there. What the hell do you plan on doing with all the power you have in that thing?
Re: Whats your pc?
Playing games and rendering stuff, and I should be future-proofed for a while.

Re: Whats your pc?
I built mine and expected 4 years. I don't see a damn reason why you would need a update for atleast 10.

Re: Whats your pc?
Right seeming as alot of you know whats best when buying a gaming computer.
Heres one i picked. i'd like responses to is it a good buy. my budget is roughly £800 all in. by that i mean monitor, keyboard/mouse and the computer itself.
http://www.ukgamingcomputers.co.uk/shopping_cart.php
this is what i've come up with im not smart when it comes to this so i just adjust a few things based on what i hear you guy say.
if you could just advise me on what i could save money on and what i should possible spend a bit extra on so the computer not only works better but is going to last me at least 5 years before i think of an upgrade or replacement.
i don't want to spend anymore than what you'll see the price is when you open the link but if there anywhere you think i could save please tell me.
itys prebuilt no way im building it myself when i've never had a proper gaming computer before.
thanks
