Re: 2013 AMA Supercross Discussion
Although Albertson rode well, Dungey's ride was much more impressive.

Great, unpredictable racing so far this year. A lot of crashes without too many season-ending injuries. On that note, I hope Hill can return to complete an entire event in SanDiego.

Yeah. I think Hill has more than served his time for the whole stupid backflip thing. I hope he can get back to where he was in 2009 and 2010 before the injuries.

Oh my god my dad and I where up like yelling and screaming that entire 450 LCQ, totally didn't think Dungey had the aggression in him to make as many passes as he did at the speed he had to do them.
Also glad to see my Honda kids back up on the box, Barcia and Tomac bouncing back after both DNFing Oakland too!

Re: 2013 AMA Supercross Discussion
i was quite impressed with Stewarts ride. he almost got on the podium! i think his knee not allowing him to train as much got to him. if it werent for that he probably would have got 3rd IMO. but he seemed to fall off in the 2nd half. Poto, man...we know hes fast, we know he can win, but hes been on the ground a lot. good to see Davi continue to lead the points. hes just as fast as those guys and hes showing that A1 wasnt a fluke. and Dungey man...poor guy's air shock went belly up, horrible beginning in the LCQ to come back to 2nd and then win?!
this season is so much better than the last 2 years!
oh, and go Roczen!

I'm not a Dungey fan but he impressed me.. Didn't ride the heat, almost didn't make it through the LCQ and still win the main(with some luck)
The other rider who impressed me was Davi Millsaps.. He was on fire in the main, but I was hoping that he would put on a challenge with Dungey
And Chad Reed needs to stop taking everybody out at the start... Poto got blocked because of him and I think that it's the reason why Dungey got away with the win.

Re: 2013 AMA Supercross Discussion
Milsaps keeps hold to that red plate. And it doesn't looks like it makes him nervous or infects his ridingstyle. He just keeps it pinned but at the same time he looks sooooo smooth.
But if he doesn't bring it home I think Dungey will. He's getting stronger and stronger, doesn't care so much about a win, take as much points as possible every race is for him the main goal. While Villopoto doesn't seem to realize that he doesn't need to win half of the races to become a champ. If he's riding not in first he's pushing it like a maniac, and in this field, where 1 mistake is 1 to many isn't that the way to become a champion.

Re: 2013 AMA Supercross Discussion
Dungey seems to ride his best when his night is generally going to shit.
Southwick comeback from -1 lap to 7th
3rd place in Daytona after his heat race mechanical...
If I were his mechanic I'd be leaving pieces off at the start of every race just to fire him up

That doesn't explain how he rides so good when everything's going perfectSOAB_465 wrote:Dungey seems to ride his best when his night is generally going to shit.

Re: 2013 AMA Supercross Discussion
RV is still easily within reach of the title. Pumped for James to be back up front. Deff does look like he labors through the turns. Seems scared to really push it. Which is understandable. I am loving this season so far. At least it's not some Tysen Giveaway.

It sure looks like Stewart's corner speed is off, but it sure was nice to see him through the whoop, and up front to boot! I'll always be a fan.

Re: 2013 AMA Supercross Discussion
I was pumped that RV had a bad race. It's not that I dont like him, it's just that I dont like runaway championships and it was looking like he might turn this year into one.
I reckon Millsaps was pretty lucky not to go down in that rhythm section with Alessi.
