I've heard conversation coming out of animal pens that is more intelligent than what is going on in here.

SG12's last. They are mostly plastic outside, so they are easy to clean!

Neither of them last as long as they should for how much they cost. I think Sidi's are durable.

+1

Sidi's are really nice boots. I loved mine. I also like my TCX pro 2's. They were around the same price as the sg12's (a little more give or take), but I got em 1/2 price, so I didn't hesitate. Super comfy and the buckles are awesome. Not to mention the build quality is amazing and the hinge system works really well. Only one bad thing I have to say about them. They squeak like there's no tomorrow.

I got Tech 10s and I love them, they just fit like no other boot can for me.

I've never had Sidi's or TCX's but I heard they are both good. I have Tech 10's because I got them for $50, new. But I had to spend $139 to get new soles at the end of the season. Got Sidi soles now.

I can't remember if my TCX soles are changeable, but I know I'd buy another pair for sure. They are really waterproof for those muddy days, but breath really well at the same time. I'd say get whatever boots you find the most comfortable. Nothing is worse than riding with a pair of uncomfortable boots!

Sidi's are like shoes for MX. Everything else is a steel toe redwing...
