2013 Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship discussion.

I've heard conversation coming out of animal pens that is more intelligent than what is going on in here.

Webb finished out the year with a 4-3 for 3rd overall and AC went 14-40 for 18th overall. I think both are good riders, but there is a mountain of hype surrounding AC (not his fault entirely).
Who would have guessed that Webb would have had a better outdoor rookie season than AC? I sure didn't, but Webb earned it.
AC went 3-9 for 4th at Utah.
Yeah....that's what davis is saying in that quote.

Webb still destroyed him overall. It generally helps not to miss half a season.

WOOOO what a day... Finally home and getting the dust out of my eyes, shoes, truck and laptop haha... Didn't even think it was that windy at all today but there was dust one EVERYTHING I brought to the track and it was caked.
Race was cool but I ...... well I'll let the riders comments from the press conference today speak for me.

Georgia Lindsay says:
"So what did you think of the track today?"

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Justin Barcia says:
*really long silence* "I mean that's all that really needs to be said"

Ryan Dungey says:
"The track was just so one lined, especially in the arena section"

Ryan Villopoto says:
"I struggled to stay consistent today, track was tough"

Eli Tomac says:
"yeaaaaahhhhh you could say I don't really like these tracks" *laughs*

Ken Roczen says:
"I actually didn't like the track at all today" *laughs*

Cooper Webb says:
"The dirt here is so weird, you have a little bit of everything"

I mean some of those you could take as just jokes or some as they might be holding their true feelings back. I respect what they have tried to do to Elsinore and the changes they have made are an improvement to how flat it used to be for sure but I just don't think a National should be held there. My thought on it. Not saying it's right or wrong. I mean even if the dirt was fantastic I'm not so sure that layout is all too great. But you could tell most of the day that guys were really struggling on the surface. It is just too unpredictable in my opinion. But I suppose everyone does have to ride it... oh well. #bringbackGlenHelen

Meh, there has been so much hate on the tracks this year... I'm happy to see the sport try different things, it could use an upgrade here and there for sure. I'm ready for some silly season rumors, this time of year is when VitalMx is actually fun to browse, I can use a good laugh from time to time. Then we head into Supercross where the conversation will shift to "waa, this track is one lined...dirt works sucks....whoever gets the start wins...couldn't do it without my team, monste.....blah, blah, blah." And don't forget 15 minute main events.

I hope they go back to Miller next year -gotta give em at least another go at it. I couldn't care less about glen helen, elsinore, or any track in cali TBH. I hate that we have 4 SX races in that bankrupt state. At the end of the day I just want to see good racing. I hope Dungey can find another gear to start battling with RV, JS7 needs to stop hitting the ground (smh...like that will happen...lol), Barcia needs moar BAMBAM, Tomac is going to be awesome, Reedy....just don't retire yet, Canard please just stay healthy and don't double a triple....or I'll be re-watching my 2009 SX dvd every Saturday night.

Hey I mean I have my opinion and I'm not saying they need/should change. As I said I applaud their attempts so keep your         to yourself there mister rolley polley guy...
Anyway, just saying that it's a general consensus that it's more than just fans complaining, it's the actual riders. I'm just saying nothing beats a good old fashioned track full of elevation where the jumps are just natural badass floaters or scrub jumps. Even Glen Helen crosses the line of having ridiculous crap on it but it's still awesome to see riders have to judge a breaking point because of the slope of something and not based off of how many feet it is until the turn.

I feel like this isn't really news but from what I heard I guess this was a contract year for Dungey and he said he signed for 2 more years with KTM in the press conference today... Was news to me. News to you guys?
