Lucid dreaming/sleeping.

I've heard conversation coming out of animal pens that is more intelligent than what is going on in here.

Obviously, as the name indicates, it's being aware that you're dreaming. But the whole point of it is being able to control it. If you have experienced one you should know that you're able to do as you wish ( at least after a couple tries. I pretty much did on the 2nd I got ).

Also, REM's can last from 10 to +40 minutes, increasing everytime you dream. Read the wiki I posted.

Crazy: The challenge is to be able to say "Hey stupid, you're dreaming again!", and not wake up after 20 seconds as mister m121c pointed out.
If you wanna explain your dream I love reading this stuff, so feel free!
I'm sure I posted somewhere here that there's usually "patterns/signs" in dreams we all have, and are used to trigger these dreams... At least thats the way for newbies like me

I might make a 15-day dream diary post on off topic if I know people will actually read it. lol.
That would be when I got vacations from work anyway :|

I know a few of the triggers. I read something about lucid dreaming a LONG time ago. If you look at the clock, turn away, and look again, the time is usually different in a dream because your brain isn't worried about numbers or something while in a dream. Second one that I know is to flicker the lights. In a dream, apparently the lights have smooth transition.

I have heard (might be in this thread already idk) that if you a write a "A" on the palm of your hand to stand for "awake" and you went the whole day seeing it from time to time that it will work its way into your dream and when you see it you will remember it means awake which will then make you aware that you are dreaming.

I'll tell you about one whenever I have another good one. All the ones from last week are starting to run together and I lost track of which was which.
Oh yeah, the one I said everything was transparent and I tell I was sleeping, that one was pretty fucked. It was a cross between Dead Space 2 and Amnesia. I was running around the castle with a lantern hiding and shit like in Amnesia, but insted of that one monster hunting me there was a bunch of those necromorphs(?) from Dead Space.

And that night I was watching Amnesia videos in the evening and then went downstairs to play Dead Space before I went to sleep. So that's where that came from. So basically when I woke up it wasnt from me being pumped I was dreaming, it was me going "Sick, I can actually get out of this."
