Ok, I was kind of skeptical about the game. However, after putting in a good 2 hours into the demo, I'm ready to comment. I'm not sure why you guys put the clutch on the RB....Since most of the people who got the demo played Untamed, they are used to the clutch in the "stock" place on LB. Stupid in my opinion, can't wait for the real game so I can switch it to LB. I actually like the waiting compound WAY more than the National track. I would of rather had a crappy SX track than the freestyle arena. But the freestyle arena is ALOT better than in previous MX games. Now, I'm off to go practice some more....

About the ruts disappearing.. I just tested it on one of the corners in the loading area.. i made a nice rut and then went off and messed around for a while and then came back and it was all gone and back to how it started at.

I will have to check Mittocs. Maybe it's something special with the UI world, as I've left my box on over night before and come back and the ruts were still there, and I know how they work. We do somethings special for the loading area and it isn't a normal track, so maybe? something is different. I'll try to find out.

Wow.. only just managed to let go of my xbox controller. Reflex is amazing. My favorite MX game of them all. I'v bought every one of rainbows MX games since good old motocross madness. In my opinion, its finally topped MvA.

First thing i did when i loaded up the demo, went to the national track, found a nice corner and dug a massive crater in the middle of it and then watched as my crater caused Ai pile ups. After that i started racing and havent really stopped since i downloaded it last night.

Only gripe i have with it is that the rider ragdolls are terrible. Why cant they be like MvA ragdolls? none of this bouncing and sliding forever along the gound. To this day MvA ragdolls are still better than most FPS games.

AWESOME game! Loads of fun, heck even the quads are fun to ride now.

PS. i saw mittocs issue with trails not staying. Its weird, my trails stay forever, iv dug plenty of craters and blown up many berms. left it running and ate tea, came back, still there. I'v been delibratly punishing the dirt deformation to find flaws in it. Havent found any. well i did find one on the national track. it must have been like 2 polygons of dirt in the center of the track had spiked up, to what looked to be about 5 meters high. i had to reload back to the menu to make it go away. Havent seen any more "dirt spikes" since.

I just downloaded the demo for PS3. Overall is really good for a MVA game considering the market they target.

Pros:
Terrain deformation is awesome
Bike sounds are better than before
The tracks are truly amazing
Models are pretty good, although I think the ones we have here are actually better. Probably to do with the awesome tracks using a tonne of memory?
The whips are really cool with tonnes of variations.
Many more but most people have said them already

Negatives:
No supercross

Very very limited options, even for a demo. 1 race, 1 rider, 2 bikes, 1 track, 1 set difficulty, 1 set amount of laps.

The auto replay is pretty bad no offence. The replay shows every single crash you had during the race and fails to show anything good during the race. I had 2 perfect laps and scrubbed or whipped every jump pretty much. Then on the last lap delliberatly stacked it 4-5 times and the replay showed 1 whip and then 5 continuous crashes. The replay system on untamed was really really good, I hope they use the same thing in the full game

You have the jam the throttle on (atleast on a PS3 controller) to get it to work. After an hour I got a sore finger but any less pressure and the bike doesn't move.

The brakes are almost non-existant. I tested with the same run up on both a 250 and 450 and the stopping distance with brakes vs no brakes really wasn't that drastic considering I was actually braking.

The bike is really bumpy over any sort of rough terrain. Still has some very unrealistic moments but that is to be expected and understood why.

No transmission, although again I understand why

If you hold the brakes and throttle down the bike doesn't rev. Also there is a pretty big pause between the letting go of the brakes and the bike moving

Overall the game is really good, just trying to nit-pick :D

I'm sure they could have made the models more complex if they wanted

Glad you guys are liking everything for the most part.

I've heard the brakes mentioned a few times, in the final release you can tune how strong your brakes are. I'm assuming the reason they are set so weak standard is to keep people from sliding all over/doing stoppies and endoing into the corners. Hey, atleast you have to use them now right!! hehe.

You must have one hell of a pair of ears to hear him about 4,000 miles away.
