2016 MXGP Discussion

I've heard conversation coming out of animal pens that is more intelligent than what is going on in here.

Oh, thanks! That'll be interesting! Think he'll do good in the MXGP class. Is he allowed to ride a 250f there if he wants to, or is it 350/450?

He will race the 450. Cairoli on the 350.

so happy herlings is moving up, but with that absence in the mx2 class, who is in contention for the title next year in that class, cuz with ferrandis gone whos gonna step up to the plate, my bet is either seweer or anstie, possibly if covington gets healthy it might be a break out year for him. but i could be wrong, and just wondering whats your pick for mx2 next year?

Hunter Lawrence if he races mx2 next year.

I think Cairoli should step down just because.

Anstie is going IceOne MXGP. He's too old as well.

There's a shitload of riders who can go for the title actually. It will al depend on who can actually deal with the pressure. Because for ALL these guys it will be the first time that they will be title contenders before the season starts. Before that it was all about Herlings.

But if I have to name some. (3 starts to 1 stars favorite, more stars, bigger favorite)

***
Pauls Jonass

**
Jeremy Seewer
Thomas Kjer Olsson (will be factory Husqvarna, but ssshhh don't tell anyone yet)
Hunter Lawrence
Darian Sanayei
Benoit Paturel
Conrad Mewse

*
Aleksandr Tonkov
Brian Bogers
Brent Van Doninck
Jorge Prado Garcia

Brian Hsu would go to the USA because Suzuki want's to get their factory MX2 program rolling again.

i call bogers "boogers" but that in all seriousness that mofo has been showing some good speed on his semi privateer bike if im not mistaken, I would feel like that dude deserves a factory ride. But he does tend to drop an alessi anchor so theres that but is Hsu really going to the usa to race for factory suzi in the 250's?

I talked to Jorge Prado briefly and he said he's coming to the US in 2017. Not sure if that's confirmed yet, but he said it   I can't wait to see him hit his prime, he's so good.

Next year title will be between Van Doninck (if he stays healthy), Seewer, Tonkov and Paturel. IMO Jonass has too many crashes, but I hope for him he can turn it around ofcourse. It should be interesting for sure! And trust me, Bogers his back is probably as good as the factory bikes.

Some good riders for next year are ofcourse Olssen, Hunter Lawrence and maybe Prado if he doesnt go to the USA.

Jorge Prado Garcia has to be my favorite European rider at the moment, awesome style and so fast! 3rd OA in his first GP and in my opinion the only GP rider along with Ferrandis that isn't afraid of Herlings. A few weeks ago I messaged him on IG and he said he should be in the states racing SX/MX in 2018. Woo!
