Re: 3d animation/renders
No its the other one I am working on. Almost got there last night just need to tweak a few more things and render it off. At the end of every render I swear I will stay more organized in my next one but it never happens. Next time for sure tho haha.VMX_SKYmx99 wrote:That looks great. Is that the front of your previous render?

Re: 3d animation/renders
Haha! I have an imac with a 4gb nvidia card and 32gb of ram. I started a render of my new project yesterday around 11am. It was pretty intense with particles and after about 16 hours, a thunderstorm knocked out my power while I was asleep. I was so upset when I woke up this morning to a shut off computer! lol Hopefully I can get the finishing touches on it and render this weekend again.SMR 510RR wrote:F my life!

32gb RAM
4GB GTX770 (I need to mess around with some GPU rendering see if it is worthwhile yet).
I also have a Render Node with a FX 8350 that is almost as fast as my workstation yet only cost me $400 and I think I am going to hookup my Gaming Laptop up to be a node now that I usually just browse the web on my T100.
For some reason once my scenes get large I can't get the node to kick in, that outdoor scene I was trying to see if I was missing a plugin or something but I used all of them and it worked fine. IDK I got to contact support and see if they can tell me how to get it to work. IDK if it would really speed things up that much since I only have 16GB of RAM in it so it will constantly be swapping stuff in and out of the memory anyways but I want to see 28 buckets!

Damn. And that takes all of your PC power? That's insane

that looks amazing
Re: 3d animation/renders
I bet most people wouldn't notice it's a render, if it was as a "Hotel preview picture" on a travel company's site. You did an awesome job!
