Okay, I'm taking a computer programming course this sem, as it is a requirement for diffyq, and the progam used is MatLab. I can get a studen version for 100 bucks, that includes the full MatLab, with several of the tools, and one other thing. http://www.mathworks.com/academia/student_version/?BB=1 Is it worth picking up? Or should I just plan on spending my free time in the school comp labs writing programs? BTW, allready looked fo a version that I could "borrow".
