As for the exhurst how would JLV manage to accurately measure the amount of exhurst coming out at certain revs?

haha yea it was a fun game i loved it with the choice of 60cc-250cc 2 strokes was amazing back then
Re: any one remember this game
Well, the game measures the rpm with the guage on the hud doesn't it? Couldn't he just put more smoke at higher rpms?yomo195 wrote:i never played that game...

Re: any one remember this game
yeah... but I doubt the smoke is directly proportional to the revs which means it would have to measured at various intervals across the entire rev range and maybe a scatter plot graph created from that?

Re: any one remember this game
i think it would also be difficult because the exhaust is not always visible, and it would be hard to determine when you can see it and when you cant, if that makes sense.
Re: any one remember this game
yeah i agree... and it isnt something that the game is in dire need of at the moment.

Exhaust amount is directly proportional to torque. Max torque produces the most exhaust gas. Smoke generated would have to be proportional to the torque curve.yomo195 wrote:yeah... but I doubt the smoke is directly proportional to the revs which means it would have to measured at various intervals across the entire rev range and maybe a scatter plot graph created from that?
Its only visible if there is oil in the gas (IE: motor has blowby), or if the bike is running rich. "2-smokes" smoke because you run a fuel mixture of gasoline+oil. So, with a properly tuned 4 stroke, the bike should not really smoke at all during normal operating conditions..... Only maybe on a cold start up.wheels1758 wrote:i think it would also be difficult because the exhaust is not always visible, and it would be hard to determine when you can see it and when you cant, if that makes sense.
