What's the Coolest Non-Moto Related Place You've Been?

I've heard conversation coming out of animal pens that is more intelligent than what is going on in here.

What's the Coolest Non-Moto Related Place You've Been?

Post by Ih8Hondas »

I'm bored so I figured I'd start a thread. As the title says, list the coolest non-moto related place you've been and explain what makes it so cool.

For me it's Wyoming. 99% of the time I was there it was like being on the moon. There's nobody out there. Just you, the road, and some amazing, dramatic, often weird scenery. I just love the untouched-by-civilization feeling out there. It's so desolate. It would be so easy to just live out where nobody would bother you and you could just make one trip to town every month and load up on supplies and then just disappear again. You have the high plains, the foothills of the Rockies, the Grand Tetons, and then there's nature's acid trip, Yellowstone. It's just an epic state. I want to go back really bad, but on a streetbike this time and on even less traveled roads.

Redwood national forest.

Minus the "environment friendly" atmosphere of course.

Redwood Forest and Yosemite are the only reasons I would go to California. I don't care if the whole mx industry is there, I have no desire to go anywhere near SoCal.

That and the Salton Sea. Nasty as hell, but pretty cool to check out. Apparently, one can float on their back in there without trying to stay afloat. The "apparently" part is because I will never set foot inside that water, there's like millions of dead fish along the shoreline .

That's wicked. I've always wanted to see stuff like that. Did you take that picture? Or just some pic from the internet?

It's crazy in there! So beautiful I must say. It started raining, freaked everyone out because in 1997 or so, 13 people died because it filled up with water. I guess it has to be raining about 13 miles away for the water to fill it up, by the time we got out it was pouring. I was so worried it was going to break my camera!

No kidding. I thought he just posted some stock pic he found on the internet. Haha. That's like some of the pics my uncle takes, and that's what he does for a living.

Tangalooma Bay on Moreton Island. A little bay area built from sunken ships. We went there on a school trip. So many fish there; you chuck some bait or bread out, the fish go nuts.

This was back before I had a decent camera, so I dont have any pics. There are just off the net
