MotoSim - Motocross Simulator (Pocket Edition) Version 1.5.0

I've heard conversation coming out of animal pens that is more intelligent than what is going on in here.

MotoSim - Motocross Simulator (Pocket Edition) Version 1.5.0

Post by attacker5 »

Hello,
Many of you are aware that I have been hard at work with developing a new game. The target platform will be a mobile device, as well as a PC standalone version. I am posting it here to get some input about what you guys would like to see in a game like this. I am well aware that there are tonnes of glitches and am working hard to sort it out. Its not that I cant fix it, its that it takes time, and I am busy doing it. It is a beta version and there are going to be major updates to it soon.
The Development Team:
Ramon Brand
- Scripting, artwork and game functionality.
Joe Sawler
- Management, business and legal.
Josh Mehrtens
- Artwork and Testing
Andrew O'hagan
- Testing

Note:
- Buttons and Commands may be unresponsive, this is normal, and is because not all files are included, due to them not being fully completed yet.

- Press 2 for secondary view, and 1 for primary view.

- Slightly stiffer forks and a slightly softer shock will do most tracks wonders.
Latest Version:
Windows
Version 1.5.2 Windows -> New Graphics, New Layout, New Track, Overall Overhaul! Game Development Stage. <- KNOWN GLITCH -> On some fast systems, the bike might tend to lean back, issue has been resolved.
Mac
Version 1.5.1 Mac -> New Graphics, New Layout, New Track, Overall Overhaul! Game Development Stage. -> Fixed -> Thanks to O'hagan for testing!

Previous Versions:
Version 1.4
Windows
Version 1.4.1 -> First Public Release
Mac

We will be more than happy to have the community input their ideas and concepts, as well as some artwork to the game, however, there are some limitations that will need to be implemented to ensure the smooth production of the game.

Legal:
Any and All of the artwork or concepts given to us will have to be considered "Our" work, for simple legal reasons. To put this is very simple terms, if you send us work, and we want to, we can say its our and we made it. Although we will never do that, for legal reasons, such as when the game will eventually be a app, this is nessesary.
If you do not agree with this, there is no need to do any work for us.

This might sound direct, but It is nessasary to make this very clear before someone makes something, and then doesn't agree after.

Does the installer create a start menu shortcut? If so where?

WAYY better than I had imagined Ramon, at first I was thinking it would be a 2D game like Mad Skills..man was I wrong. This could beat the Trials games on 360 with some work! RMZ looks pretty damn sexy in-game I must say. I'd love to help with something on this!

It has potential for sure. I think it's key to focus on function rather than form at the moment though. The physics need lots of work as I'm sure you know. Keep plugging away, it will be neat to follow it.
