Re: Downhill/Freeride thread
Absolutely true. In my case it took over one hour to get on the track since I had to keep my bike in another place than I lived back then, and the track were in opposite way from there. But now my hoods are perfect for MTB, there's trails everywhere. Man nice bike you got there.dylan22 wrote:Looks like you did a sweet job, Yeah I am in the same boat. Coming from moto, MTB is just so much easier. Just throw the bike in the ute and off you go. There is more places to ride, It doesn't take away a entire day like MX does. Not to mention it's a lot cheaper.

Re: Downhill/Freeride thread
That's weird as hell to hear. Where I grew up we had nothing for mountain biking anywhere. Motocross tracks were all over the place and easy as hell to get to.
That was in Missouri though. Now that I'm in Albuquerque and have a mountain range basically in my back yard, I may have to get into MTBing once I get a job. There's still more places for mx than MTB here though.

Re: Downhill/Freeride thread
Just got my bikes home finally. After moving from home 2 years ago, I had no room for a bike since we lived on the 3rd floor. Upon moving again now, there's now room! The bike is a Focus Dirt Decision 5.9, with the frame being the size "Small", which I now sort of regret... Believe it's from 2008. Put on the handle's, went for green ones because why not... Also put on a new seat since I killed my old one. It was bent 30% down to the left + bent a bit in the middle. Not being very skilled made me end up landing on the seat some time and it got bent. Bent...

How about someone make a Downhill bike for the game. That'd be one of the awesomest things ever
