The Other Racing Games Topic

I've heard conversation coming out of animal pens that is more intelligent than what is going on in here.

Yeah it’s pretty fun actually. Kinda like a smaller air and space museum I think. I haven’t been to either in a couple years but I remember them being similar

Beam NG drive. Leap Of Death. Time to take path from bottom of pit to transition of jump at the top: 40min 40sec with about 30 resets along the way. 3rd gear low.
You never see them go. They're always full. No one ever gets on, but they're always...they're always departing, but they never arrive...and the ones that do arrive, they never leave.

So I just subscribed to iRacing and I’m thinking about buying some content. Is it worth it to buy cars or tracks? Also which ones are most commonly? The F3 cars look fun but I’m not sure how many people race that class

I eventually bought it all. I did get it in 2012 though. Just go for what you want to try. Watch some races and figure out what looks fun or whatever.

If you want to go for open wheeler and has the license to race F3, then you should go for it. If I remember correctly, it has been the more popular open wheel series behind Skip barber. The only thing which can be at risk is how popular the new tire model is on that car. The only problem is that I have no idea how popular this series is for the American drivers compared to the euros.

When it comes to tracks, I would recommend going for high profile tracks who almost everyone knows, these are commonly used in several series and participation is usually high on these tracks.

So basicly the more known Formula 1 tracks and high profile US tracks (Road America, Watkins Glen and Sebring) are a good starting point

This is a SOF (Strenght of field) indicator of the series. The darker red the color, the stronger the competition. This can show what time is the most popular and not. BUT keep in mind that this is taken during the end of a season and that's usually the time where the attendance is at its lowest. So during the first couple of weeks, this table will be more red that this :)

The original Dirt Rally is free until 9/16. If you download it you own it and I'd highly recommend doing so.
