3 of the other names never left single syllable rhyme schemes and basic wordplay. I say it's corny because compared to the standard set entering the 90's, it was definitely viewed lower tier than the new bar. Remember my list did involve a skill factor, and I like many of those artists or songs they made (don't know a few ngl) but to put them in a top 10 list that isn't purely based on impact and growth of the genre or how much you like the artist is a great dishonor to many of the artists they inspired. If I had made a list of my favourite rappers, this list would look much different, but I gave criteria.

P.S. Just because I'm less than half your age doesn't mean I only listen to what's new. I listen to many genres and artists dating back to the mid 50's. I spend most of my time with musical exploration going further back in time than catching up to date, because imo music has lost a lot of substance in recent times but mostly the soul and passion for it.

A delightful development that has come of all this is the latest "Challenge". The coronavirus challenge gets my Darwin award vote as it's people licking surfaces to prove how OG they are. Yay! If you wanna prove Ava Louise "got no game" then post your pics!

Unsafe at ANY Speed! To be fairrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr, there's plenty of straight-line skid marks that go off of cliffs where people did not know how to drive a rear engine vehicle into a corner. Corvair got a bad rap man. Beetles and Porsches had the same "ill handling". Fiat X1-9 and MR2 could be another example.
